Airfare is not included.  All fees are in U.S. dollars.  Program prices are subject to change.  In Mexico and Central America, program fee covers all lodging, transportation within the country and meals (except one evening meal and taxi to the airport, approximately $18 per vehicle or less).  In Europe, program fee covers all lodging, transportation with the country (except taxi to airport, approximately $25 per vehicle) and two meals per day.

 

**All programs have a minimum number of 15 and $150 non-refundable (unless program is canceled) registration fee.  Mail your registration fee four months prior to opening date of program and receive a $50 reduction.

Registration fee is refundable if not enough people sign up for a trip.  For countries where program is pre-paid, there is a 95% return up to two months prior to the opening date, 90% for the following month and 75% at opening date.

 

If an insufficient number sign up for a trip, GATE maintains the right to cancel with full refund of all fees. A trip is definite when a program has enough participants.  Please do not purchase your plane tickets until notified by the GATE office.

 

Though it has never been necessary, GATE maintains the right to cancel a trip in the event of war, civil unrest, cataclysmic weather conditions, strikes, or anything beyond GATE's control that would make the trip impossible or dangerous.
