Mystic/Activist GATE Conference
with Nancy Sylvester, IHM
Inviting all GATE participants from near and far to another GATE Weekend:
October 24-26, 2008
Registration deadline: September 15, 2008
Those who travel the globe with GATE are on a quest--a quest to understand why the suffering of our world is so great; why women's experience has been so diminished and forgotten; how can we fashion a spirituality for transformation. This weekend retreat will invite you to engage your experience of these realities in the context of the Great Turning, the Chaos Point, and the New Story so as to be more aware of the cultural shift in which we are participating. Believing that the next stage of transformation calls women and men to become mystics, Nancy will explore how communal contemplation opens us to see more clearly who we are and to imagine how we must be and act to further the transformation of our planet and our species. The time together will integrate process and presentation. The participants will experience communal contemplation and learn the skills of deepening conversation.
Registration: $25.00, plus meals and lodging. Your costs have been reduced thanks to a generous grant from FSPA.
Registration deadline: September 15, 2008
