The program includes a visit to the shrine of Our lady of Guadalupe, the Zocalo, birthplace of modern Mexico, and the ancient site of the pyramids of Teotihuacan.

Visit to the Zocalo (central plaza), the Cathedral, and National Palace
Mexico City-- One of the largest cities in the world, center of Spanish-American culture, site of magnificent examples of history and anthropology, place of great riches, but also the social and economic problems that plague Mexico, home for a host of courageous people working to make a better life for themselves, their families and neighborhoods.
Visit a town in the state of Guanajuato, a couple hours from Mexico City, which will provide a close-up of life in the countryside and enable program participants to examine rural issues and see what happens to families when the men of the town emigrate north.
